Student Organizations

Students are encouraged to build their leadership skills, create networking opportunities, and develop long-lasting friendships.

Organizations sponsored by the Department of Marketing are available to students majoring in business disciplines and allow students to become actively involved in professional development activities and to gain leadership and administrative skills in a variety of officer roles.

Pi Sigma Epsilon – Gamma Lambda Chapter

Founded in 1952, Pi Sigma Epsilon is the only national co-ed professional fraternity in the fields of sales, marketing, and management. The fraternal order was created for marketing and sales students who want to strengthen and further develop their professional skills.

Joining the Gamma Lambda Chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon provides students with an advantage by setting them up for future success in their chosen career path. Members have the opportunity to engage in various sales and marketing activities, networking events, and national sales competitions that provide practical experience that future employers are looking for in a new graduate. The life-long connections and friendships you’ll make at our local chapter and with Georgia Southern alumni all over the U.S., will help you build confidence, develop your leadership skills, and better prepare you for your professional career.

Delta Sigma Pi

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce; and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
