May 28, 2020: Faculty Return to Campus

Dear Faculty,

This afternoon, Dr. Marrero shared with you Georgia Southern University’s “Initial Return to Campus” plan, which details a phased approach for the return of faculty, staff, and student workers to campus. Although the plan is for the university to be fully operational by August 1, 2020, there is one point of clarification I want to make specifically about the return of faculty. You do not need to return to the university this summer if you are not on contract or if you have no need to be on campus. You may return in August at the standard date, before the beginning of the fall semester, if you wish.

Please follow the guidelines outlined in the plan for when you do return. Also, please make sure you upload all your courses to Folio before the start of fall classes.
