Our conference aims to promote successful aging and positive social change, enhancing the quality of life for older adults and those who support them. This year’s conference is November 1, 2024

About the Gerontology Conference

The Social Gerontology Community Conference is on Friday, November 1, 2024. This year’s theme is: “Let’s Connect More in 2024: Bridging the Gap Between Gerontology Disciplines & Practice.”

SGCC is committed to fostering a deeper understanding of aging and improving the mental, physical, and social well-being of older adults, it is a unique platform for sharing innovative research, practical solutions, and collaborative strategies. We welcome professionals, caregivers, researchers, and advocates who are passionate about improving the lives of older adults.

This year’s conference will be located at the Georiga Southern University’s Continuing and Professional Education Center (CPE Center).

Call for Proposals

Are you an expert in gerontology, healthcare, social work, or a related field? Do you have innovative ideas, research findings, or practical strategies to share? We invite you to submit a proposal to present at our conference.

Submission Details

Requirements: Must fall into one of the tracks, include a title, 300-word description, and one or more learning objectives.
Deadline: Please submit your proposal by July 1, 2024.
