Army Credentialing Assistance

Visit Army COOL to find approved credentialing and determine eligibility.

• Choose a credential and view the prerequisite requirements.
• Visit the ArmyIgnitED website to create an account and apply for Army Credentialing Assistance. 
• Request a quote by completing the Credentialing Assistance Quote Request Form and we will send you a quote.
• Upload the quote with your application in ArmyIgnitED. 
• Make sure you have selected the appropriate timeframe or your application may be rejected for payment.  

I’m approved. What’s next?

Once you are approved, the Army Credentialing Assistance Team will contact us to make the payment on your behalf.  You will receive notification from the Army CA team when your request has been moved to finance.  Please note that your request is not approved until the Finance Team has made payment.

You will be registered for the course with the date you selected in your credentialing assistance application in ArmyIgnitED.  

You will receive an email from Cengage ed2go with a copy of your student agreement. It is important that you read and acknowledge the agreement otherwise you will not be able to access your course on your start date.

On the course start date, you will receive a welcome email from the ed2go registration team with information on how to access your program and contact information for your student advisor. Please follow the instructions carefully and if you have any questions regarding access, please contact your student advisor listed in the welcome email.

Please reach out to the Army Credentialing Assistance Team to request an extension by logging into your ArmyIgnitED account.  Once you have received confirmation that your extension was approved, submit the Army Credentialing Assistance Extension Request Form with your documentation and we will take care of the rest!  

Once you have successfully completed your course we will email you a Certification of Completion to the email address on file.  To expedite the process, we will also upload a copy in ArmyIgnitED. Remember, you must show proof of completion within 10 days of the end date on file in your ArmyIgnitED account or the Army will begin the recoupment process.
