Advisement Process
Before Advisement
Dual enrolled students who wish to continue in the program from one semester to the next must first meet with their high school counselor to discuss what courses they need in order to fulfill high school graduation requirements.
High school counselors must submit approved courses to Georgia Southern before a student can be advised and receive their Registration Access Number (RAN).
Advisement
Students will receive an email from their Georgia Southern academic advisor with instructions on when and how to sign up for an advisement appointment through EAB Navigate prior to course registration.
Students can also sign up for an appointment with their advisor at any time inside EAB Navigate.

Registration
Dual enrolled students receive priority registration to ensure that they have access to the courses that they need to fulfill high school graduation requirements. To check for your registration time:
- Login to MyGeorgiaSouthern
- Navigate to the WINGS section.
- Click on Student Information
- Click on Student Profile
- Click on Registration Notices in the upper right corner

GAfutures Dual Enrollment Scholarship Application
Dual enrolled students are required to complete the GAfutures Dual Enrollment Scholarship Application every academic year to ensure that they receive the Dual Enrollment Scholarship to cover their tuition and non-course-related fees.
Students must complete the GAfutures application before getting advised for classes. Failure to complete the application could result in students having to pay for their cost of enrollment or removal from courses. Students attending a private or public Georgia high schools and students attending a home study program can complete the application online found here.
Non-State-Funded Courses
Students must complete the Non-State-Funded Approval Form for courses not eligible for dual enrollment funding.
Students submit the form to their academic advisor at the time of advisement.
