Minor in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies
Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) is for everybody. It is about all genders. It is about systems of power & oppression; it is about race, class, sexuality, nationality. It is intersectional.
WGSS is a large and growing field, leading to jobs in social work, public policy, law, education, politics, public health, non-profit, advocacy, lobbying, activism, and international relations.
We engage with what is happening today; we learn deeply about our tangled history; we act on how we can better tomorrow. We grow ourselves and others!
Georgia Southern offers a WGSS concentration for the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies and also an interdisciplinary minor.
