Welcome to Pre-Law Advising!

Our mission is to provide our pre-law students* and alumni with up-to-date information about legal careers and the law school application process. We offer one-on-one coaching and guidance by appointment and to walk-ins during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.

Pre-Professional Advising, through the Office of Career and Professional Development, assists students in finding ways to gain exposure to the law and the legal profession by helping students connect with faculty-led programs, secure legal internships, attend legal presentations and alumni events, and participate in law career treks and visits to law schools.

Please use the resources in these pages to get you started and don’t hesitate to email us at  ocpd@georgiasouthern.edu with additional questions.

*Law schools require no prerequisite courses and have no preferred majors, so the term “pre-law student” refers to anyone who is considering going to law school.
