IT on Ramp
IT on Ramp is a two-week program that equips students with hands-on experience in app and game development, cybersecurity, and web design. Whether you’re already into tech or just curious about it, this camp offers valuable experience in some really exciting areas. Students will gain skills and insights into the tech industry, exploring diverse career pathways and preparing for future success. They will get to actually build things, solve real-world problems, and learn how some of the tech you use every day actually works. This camp allows for a peek at what the future could hold for those who may want to go into the tech world in the near future.
The IT On Ramp program is hosted at the Virtual Collaboration Center on Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro Campus through a partnership with TECH CORPS and funding from the Nordson Corporation Foundation. Thanks to this partnership, the camp is offered at no cost, with only a one-time fee required to cover daily lunches over the two-week program. Additionally, students who complete the camp with perfect attendance will receive both valuable technology training and a $200 stipend, made possible through the grant.
