Sergio Arreguin
Southern Pride Drumline Coordinator

Sergio G. Arreguin is the Assistant Director of Bands at Statesboro High School, where he teaches band, percussion, and guitar classes. He is in his 9th year as the Percussion Coordinator for the Georgia Southern University Southern Pride Marching Band. He is also in his second year of leading The Fireline, the official drumline for the Firefighters Banana Ball team, which performs in sold-out stadiums across the U.S.

Arreguin has had many opportunities to showcase his talents. He and his colleagues are featured on a professionally recorded performance of Ney Rosauro’s Vibraphone Concerto No. 2, featuring Ney Rosauro. His most memorable performance was on The Late Show with David Letterman in New York City alongside country music artist Elizabeth Cook. He marched as a member of Georgia Southern University’s Southern Pride Marching Band for four years, playing cymbals and snare drum. He is a highly sought-after multi-percussionist who plays with several different bands from the Statesboro, Savannah, and Atlanta areas using his Meinl percussion setup.

Arreguin has taught numerous percussion groups throughout Georgia during his career. All of his competitive ensembles have received superior ratings at various marching competitions across the state. Many of his students have gone on to perform at the collegiate, DCI, and WGI levels.

Arreguin is a member of the Georgia Music Educators Association, Percussive Arts Society, and Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity. He holds both a bachelor’s degree in Music Education (2016) and a master’s degree in Percussion Performance (2025) from Georgia Southern University. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and spending quality time with his fiancée, Kayla, and their three miniature dachshunds.


Chloe Grabenstein
Southern Pride Color Guard Coordinator

Chloe was raised in Rincon, GA and attended Effingham County high school where she participated in the color guard in marching band for four years.

After high school, she attended Georgia Southern University to obtain a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design. While at Georgia Southern, she was also the color guard choreographer for Rabun County High school for three years.


Gina Jeffords
Majorettes & Feature Twirler Coordinator

Gina is from Jesup, GA. She studied at Georgia Southern College and has been the majorette coordinator at Georgia Southern for the past 6 years. Gina is also the director of Gina’s Gems performing arts studio for over 38 years. She was selected by Governor Nathan Deal to serve on the Georgia Council for the Arts 4th Term.

Gina was one of the first majorettes at Georgia Southern and has since been awarded 3-time Twirl Mania International Coach of the Year. She has been the National Baton Twirling Assistant Coach and Judge and the Director of the NBTA Georgia State Competition. Gina is also a member of Dance Educators of America and the Professional Dance Teacher Association.
