At the 2016 Conference of the National Rural Health Association, RHRI Executive Director Dr. Bryant Smalley and Mercer University’s Dr. Jacob Warren accepted the “Program of the Year” award for DESRE, a comprehensive summer training program they developed and directed as part of their NIH Center of Excellence grant.
