Research Interests
- The design, construction, and evaluation of nanoparticles-based systems for their efficacy in the detection, suppression, and even eradication of mosquito-borne viruses, such as dengue and Zika.
- Evaluating the safety of antiviral and larvicide nanoparticle-based systems in the environment.
- Elucidation of pathways involved in mosquito-borne virus pathogenesis to aid in the development of therapeutic approaches.
