In the case of an emergency in a room with a school safe lock mechanism, switch the lock mechanism to the emergency position.

normal position is horizontal, emergency position is vertical and flush with door

Instructions

To secure the door in an emergency, flip the device so that it does not stick out beyond the door and pull the door shut until it latches.
