What is OneUSG Connect?

OneUSG Connect is a comprehensive system implemented across all University System of Georgia (USG) institutions, including Georgia Southern University, to streamline and integrate key human resources functions such as payroll, talent management, time and attendance tracking, and benefits administration.

Accessible through Single Sign-On (SSO) with Georgia Southern credentials, OneUSG Connect eliminates the need for additional login information and provides a seamless experience. Its mobile-friendly design enables users to conveniently submit and approve absences from any device, offering a flexible and modern solution for HR management while being centrally managed by USG to support institutional needs.

What is the Purpose of OneUSG Connect?

OneUSG Connect is intended to help the USG manage and support its workforce. The major components of OneUSG Connect – payroll services, talent management, human resources management, time and attendance, and benefits administration – are unified and integrated into a single technology system.

Who uses OneUSG Connect?

OneUSG Connect is used by all University System of Georgia employees.

What can employees do in OneUSG Connect?

Employees use OneUSG Connect to record and submit time, access, review and update personal information including direct deposit, pay checks and benefits anytime, anywhere – by computer, tablet, even a smartphone.

How do employees access OneUSG Connect?

All employees can access the system securely with their established log-on credentials and password through the My.GeorgiaSouthern portal.

Is the system the same for managers?

All employees can access OneUSG Connect securely with their established log-on credentials and password. If you are a manager/supervisor of other employees, you are granted additional access within OneUSG Connect. After logging into the system, managers can switch between their role as an employee to manager using a drop down menu.
