Public Health Internship for BSPH Students
The internship is the culminating experience of your BSPH degree!
Course: PUBH 4798
Internships are completed for academic credit: 6-12 credit hour options are available
Requirements:
- Interns must be in their final semester of the BSPH program and have completed all major core courses.
- Minimum GPA: 2.5

Informational Meetings
Informational meetings are required! Check your email for an invitation to two mandatory internship meetings.
- First meeting:
- 4-6 months before you plan to complete your internship.
- Instructions for finding and internship and internship requirements
- Second Meeting:
- 2-4 weeks before you begin your internship
- Course syllabus, internship expectations and paperwork
Approval of Internship Sites
- Internship site must be approved by the BSPH Internship Coordinator

Georgia Southern University and Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health provide students with the resources to locate and acquire internships. Visit the Office of Career and Professional Development and the JPHCOPH Experiential Site for internship opportunities. A Google Drive folder is also shared with each internship cohort.
