Football pep rally Oct. 25
The Office of Spirit and Traditions at Georgia Southern University will host a football pep rally Thursday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the RAC Band Shell/Pavilion.
‘The pep rally is a great way to combine athletics and student activities and create an atmosphere of spirit and pride before the football game,” said Leslie Spoon, coordinator of the Office of Spirit and Traditions.
The football team, cheerleaders, Gus and the Southern Pride marching band will be on hand to get the crowd excited for the Saturday, Oct. 27, homecoming game against The Citadel. The cheerleaders will be handing out t-shirts and megaphones.
The event is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the community.
