Students use their skills to encourage healthy learning and living at Community Health Fair
Community members are invited to make a change to a healthier lifestyle on Saturday, March 1, when Georgia Southern University’s College of Health and Human Sciences and the East Georgia Regional Medical Center co-sponsor a Community Health Fair. The fair will take place at the Medical Center on Fair Road from 8-11:30 a.m.
Students from the School of Nursing and the Department of Health and Kinesiology will be available to provide a variety of health screenings including:
- Bone Density
- Blood Pressure
- Pulmonary Function
- Flexibility and Balance
- Glucose
- Stroke
- Hemoglobin
- Body Fat Analysis
- With an appointment, the following screenings are available:
- Cholesterol
- Carotid Ultrsound
- Prostate Exam
- Diabetic Foot Screening
