Revised Dates for the Presidential Candidate Open Forums and Faculty Q & A Sessions
The visit schedule for the six Presidential Search Candidates has been confirmed, and is one week later than originally anticipated. On the afternoon of the first day of each three-day visit, candidates will tour the campus and community and have dinner with representatives of the Presidential Search and Screen Committee.
On the second day following multiple interviews with various campus constituents, candidates will participate in an Open Forum in which each candidate will make formal remarks followed by an opportunity for questions and answers.
The dates for the Open Forums are September 10, 17, 21, 24, 28, and October 1. All Open Forums are in the PAC from 4-5:30 p.m. Open Forums are just thatopen to all: faculty, staff, students, members of the community, alumni, and the press. We hope to have enthusiastic attendance. Overflow seating will be available as needed. On the third day of each visit, candidates will participate in a special session just for faculty.
This Faculty Q & A will be held from 8-9 a.m. in the Auditorium of the Nesmith-Lane Building (with one exception, the September 18 session will be in the College of Education Auditorium Room 1115). Dates of these Faculty Q & A sessions are September 11, 18, 22, 25, 29, and October 2. Please join us in welcoming each candidate to campus.
