Georgia Southern Invites Business Professionals to Explore MBA in The City

eagleheadSavannah-area professionals can see how to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Georgia Southern University without ever leaving the city limits. An “MBA in the City” information session will be held Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the Coastal Georgia Center on Fahm Street.

During the information session, MBA professors and advisors with Georgia Southern University’s College of Business Administration will be on hand to answer questions about the program, entrance exams, application process and online degree options.

Georgia Southern University’s College of Business Administration has offered an MBA degree for more than 40 years. The college is ranked by the Princeton Review as one of the best in the country and its MBA program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The degree program can be completed in Savannah, online, at the Statesboro campus or through a combination of the three – a main selling point to those busy with careers, travel or family commitments.

“The ability to earn an MBA while working full-time, running your own business or managing family commitments is something more professionals are interested in today,” says Ron Shiffler, dean of the College of Business Administration. ‘An MBA is always in demand and professionals with advanced degrees are highly sought-after by organizations and valued for their expertise and counsel.”

To reserve a space at the session, contact the MBA Program Office at 912-478-5767 or mba@georgiasouthern.edu. More information is also available at www.mbainthecity.com.
