College of Business Administration Named One of the Best in U.S. by The Princeton Review
Georgia Southern University’s College of Business Administration has been named one of the 300 Best Business Schools in the country by The Princeton Review. This is the fifth year in a row the College of Business Administration has been included on the list.
“We are honored to again be chosen by The Princeton Review as one of the best business schools in the country,” said College of Business Administration Dean Ronald Shiffler. “Our faculty and staff work hard to provide a top tier education to our students that will prepare them to compete in a global economy. It is very gratifying to have our efforts recognized by an organization as distinguished as The Princeton Review.”
The College of Business Administration was recognized for its MBA program. As part of the ranking process, The Princeton Review asked students enrolled in the programs to comment about the school, faculty and their overall experience. Students surveyed by The Princeton Review praised the Georgia Southern University’s MBA faculty members as being detail oriented and accessible professors who often used current events to explain business concepts. Students enrolled in the online Georgia WebMBA program also noted that some professors gave students their cell phone numbers so they could be reached at any time for coursework questions.
“The MBA programs at Georgia Southern have a diverse professional and cultural student population, all of whom bring a unique perspective to the programs,” said MBA Director Melissa Holland. “The Princeton Review survey shows that whether a student is in our classroom or taking all of the coursework online, we are committed to providing them one of the best advanced business degree programs in the country.”
