Georgia Southern University Public Safety Update
Test Results Negative, Lewis Hall Scheduled to Reopen Monday
Georgia Southern University was notified late Thursday evening that preliminary test results on the unknown substance removed from Lewis Hall were negative. The tests confirmed that the substance did not contain any hazardous materials.
Based on these results, the University will conduct a thorough cleaning of the building and Lewis Hall will reopen on Monday (Jan. 10).
