‘Hooray for Hollywood’ Coming to Georgia Southern’s Performing Arts Center
The lights of Broadway will be coming to Georgia Southern University’s Performing Arts Center (PAC), 847 Plant Drive, as it hosts “Hooray for Hollywood” on Monday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are now on sale for the nostalgic journey through one of the most popular musicals of the last 50 years. Discounted prices are available for Georgia Southern students, faculty and staff. Tickets prices for the performance are:
General admission: $26
Georgia Southern faculty and staff: $20
Students: $10
“Hooray for Hollywood” features a cast of 14 singers and dancers, a six-piece band and more than 300 costume changes. Enjoy film clips of your favorite movies from “Singing in the Rain” and “The Glen Miller Story” to “Grease,” “Dirty Dancing” and “Titanic.”

The PAC, located in the Nessmith-Lane Conference Center, is celebrating its 11th season of providing premier entertainment. Recognized as one of the region’s premier performance venues, the 34,000-square-foot PAC is an 825-seat theater that has hosted well-known musicians, Broadway musicals, plays and much more.
Following “Hooray for Hollywood,” the PAC will host Neil Simon’s hit play “Biloxi Blues” on Thursday, March 14 and then conclude its season with “The Lena Horne Project” starring Mary Wilson of the Supremes on Saturday, May 4.
