Georgia Southern Welcomes “Cinderella” to the Performing Arts Center

STATESBORO, Ga. – Feb. 14, 2014 – Georgia Southern University presents “Cinderella,” Friday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center (PAC), 847 Plant Drive. Single tickets are $24. Admission for Georgia Southern students is $10.

CinderellaThe full length ballet, presented in two acts will be performed by the Moscow Festival Ballet. Since its inception in 1989, the company has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the United States. Under the direction of Sergei Radchenko, the Moscow Festival Ballet presents the timeless classic of “Cinderella,” featuring leading Russian dancers, colorful costumes and rich comedic moments. The ballet tells the story of the kind-hearted Cinderella and her triumph over her wicked step-sisters and step-mother. Audiences will enjoy marvelous scenes of raucous comedy between the step-sisters and sweet romance between Cinderella and her prince.

“Cinderella” is just one of the many shows hitting the stage during the 12th season of entertainment at the PAC. Other shows coming to the PAC during its 2013-2014 season include “Liza & Judy: Together Again!” on March 6 and “Hot on Broadway” on April 11.
