Welcome to Hollywood; University Ready for Homecoming Oct. 6-11

Georgia Southern University will celebrate Homecoming Week from Oct. 6 to 11 and this year’s theme, Welcome to Hollywood: Southern Walk of Fame, promises a spirit-filled week of red carpet fun. Festivities will kick-off at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4 at the Russell Union Rotunda with food, fun and a sneak peak of homecoming activities.

Members of the community are invited to join in the fun on Friday, Oct. 10 during the parade at 4 p.m., the Hollywood Celebration announcement of the 2014 Homecoming Court at 5 p.m., and during the outdoor movie “Lucy,” on Sweetheart Circle at 8 p.m.

Homecoming Week will wrap up on Saturday, Oct. 11 with the football game against the University of Idaho at 6 p.m.
