Georgia Southern invites displaced ITT Tech students to explore compatible, online courses

unnamed-2

Former ITT Technical Institute students are invited to explore online, compatible courses in their fields of study available through Georgia Southern University’s Division of Continuing Education.

For the students left displaced when ITT Tech closed its doors due to bankruptcy, Georgia Southern’s Division of Continuing Education offers online certifications that prepare students for the jobs that they had been training for at ITT Tech, but at a lower cost with shorter training.

For example, a student who was studying to be a Computer Systems Technologist can take advantage of Georgia Southern’s 240-hour CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ online course.

“Even though ITT Tech has closed its doors, we are here to help,” said Belkis Torres-Capeles, Ph.D., executive director of the Division of Continuing Education. “Georgia Southern’s Division of Continuing Education has many non-credit, personal and professional development online offerings that can be completed from the comfort of your home, and we have many online partners to help you complete your personal and professional trainings. The Division serves both Statesboro and Savannah workforce development training needs.”
