Georgia Southern University police identify suspect, leads to arrest in sexual assault case

The Georgia Southern University Police Department has identified Brandon Harris as the suspect in a sexual assault that was reported to University police on November 17, 2019. Harris turned himself in to police following the issuance of a warrant for his arrest on felony rape charges.

Records show that Harris, 18, is from Evans, Georgia. He is not a Georgia Southern University student.
