Fueling Innovation: Georgia Southern secures U.S. Department of Energy contract for groundbreaking sustainable energy research

The Thermo-Fluidic Systems Laboratory at Georgia Southern University’s Allen E. Paulson College of Engineering and Computing has been awarded a contract totaling almost $180,000 from the U.S. Department of Energy to address technological challenges aimed at enhancing the efficiency of power generation in power plants. 

Sevki Cesmeci, Ph.D., an associate professor of mechanical engineering, will serve as the sole principal investigator for the project.
