Planetarium to show “Let It Snow: A Holiday Musical”

Celebrate the holidays with a showing of “Let It Snow: A Holiday Music Show” at the Planetarium in the Math/Physics Building on Saturday, Dec. 3, with presentations at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

“Let it Snow” features a new variety of festive classics from Frank Sinatra and Chuck Berry to Burl Ives and Brenda Lee, and includes a stunning multi-media finale by the Trans Siberian Orchestra. The soundtrack is visually enhanced with thematic animation, laser imagery, special effects and all-dome scenery.

At each showing, non-perishable food items will be collected for the Statesboro Food Bank for those who wish to donate.

General admission tickets for each presentation can be picked up throughout the week of the event in the Physics Department Office, located in room 2005 in the Math/Physics Building. Tickets will also be available in the Planetarium lobby starting at 5 p.m. and throughout the evening of the presentation.

Ticket holders must be in line 10 minutes before the start of the presentation, otherwise seats will be given to visitors waiting. Please arrive early for your desired presentation time as seating together is not guaranteed.The event is free and open to the public.
