Small Business Development Center Moving to New Location

eagle headThe Georgia Southern University College of Business Administration Small Business Development Center will celebrate the opening of a new office and ribbon cutting on Sept. 16 at 5 p.m.

The GSU SBDC has moved to the Market District Center at 1100 Brampton Avenue Suite C, where they will continue to provide training, technical assistance, and research to help entrepreneurs improve their chances for success.

The Georgia Southern SBDC helps small businesses develop and update business plans, identify sources of capital, set up record-keeping systems and analyze financial records, identify foreign markets for products or services, conduct specialized research geared to specific needs of the business-owner, and create marketing strategies and advertising campaigns.

‘The Georgia Southern University SBDC office assists approximately 200 clients each year from Bulloch and the surrounding counties,” said Lori Durden, SBDC Area Director.

The GSU SBDC is a part of the Georgia SBDC Network, which is a collaboration of the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Georgia Highlands College, Clayton State University, Georgia Southern University, Valdosta State University, the University of West Georgia, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
