Georgia Southern University Hosting Corporate Seminars
Business professionals are invited to develop their interpersonal skills through Georgia Southern University’s Corporate Education Wednesday Series, with half-day seminars running most Wednesdays in the Nessmith-Lane Continuing Education Building on campus this fall.
One intriguing new topic is “The Power of Working with Others,” scheduled on Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn how to improve effectiveness, increase productivity, and influence others to cooperate. This will be followed by “Mentoring and Coaching” from 1 to 5 p.m. that afternoon.
Another new seminar is “The 360-Degree Manager,” set for Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 8 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn how to apply leadership principles and impact their firm, even if they are not the boss. “Taking Ownership,” the afternoon seminar, is designed for individuals who like to improve things at work.
