Summer Celebration at Georgia Southern

Every summer, Georgia Southern University hosts its traditional “Summer Celebration,” and this year was no different. Students, faculty and staff gathered on the University’s campuses for delicious servings of fresh fruit and Leopold’s ice cream. This longstanding event began in 1948 under President Zach Henderson as a special treat during the summer heat and has continued under every Georgia Southern president since.
