Victoria Foster <\/strong>(\u201997) has been voted president of the Georgia Association for Nursing Education (GANE), the group\u2019s first African American president. She is a faculty member at Clayton State University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaclyn Donovan<\/strong> (\u201900), a certified athletic trainer with more than 20 years of experience, has been named the Warren Morris Sports Medicine Person of the Year by the Georgia Athletic Trainers\u2019 Association. She is the athletic training services coordinator at the Vereen Center in Moultrie, Georgia, and the head athletic trainer for the Moss Farms Diving Tigers. The award is named after Warren Morris, a longtime athletic trainer at the University of Georgia and a staunch advocate for athletic training in the state. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victoria R. Nease<\/strong> (\u201916) has joined the litigation group of HunterMaclean, a business law firm with offices in Savannah and St. Simons Island, Georgia. Her practice focuses on admiralty and maritime law, general litigation, medical malpractice and product liability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Shuman<\/strong> (\u201991) of Shuman Farms in Reidsville, Georgia, has been named one of three regional winners of the 2023 Grower Achievement Award by American Vegetable Grower. The family owned business is a leading grower and shipper in the Vidalia onion industry. Lt. Col. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

William Hitchens<\/strong> (\u201994) has been appointed commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Safety and Colonel of the Georgia State Patrol. Before this appointment, he served as the deputy commissioner for the public safety department. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
