On Nov.13, 2025, the Georgia Southern Alumni Sporting Clay Shoot brought members of the Eagle Nation community together for a day of camaraderie, competition and purpose \u2014 all in support of the Alumni Legacy Project. With every pull of the trigger, participants helped make a lasting impact, raising $29,540 to support students on their journey to graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event welcomed alumni, friends, sponsors and volunteers whose collective efforts directly benefit Georgia Southern students. Whether on the course, behind the scenes or cheering from the sidelines, each contribution played a role in advancing the mission of the Alumni Legacy Project: investing in student success while strengthening alumni engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special thanks are extended to Georgia Southern University Alumni Board of Directors members Jessica Hood, Hank Stewart and Ellen Wooditch, along with alumni chapter leader Knox Theus, for their leadership in planning and executing a successful event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
