Meg Heap (\u201986) has been appointed U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia. The district covers 43 counties and includes the cities of Statesboro, Savannah, Augusta, Dublin and Brunswick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jennifer Bowcock (\u201994) has been named to the prestigious Ragan\u2019s Top Women in Communication for 2025. Throughout her public relations career in the tech industry, she has collaborated with some of the top tech leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philip Williams (\u201994) was elected chairman of the Georgia Bankers Association for the 2025-26 fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sara Lue (\u201910) has been appointed director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation\u2019s (GBI) Office of Public & Governmental Affairs Division. She serves as a liaison between the agency and the media and public, overseeing the release of information about GBI services.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nandi Marshall, DrPh (\u201912) has been named president of the American Public Health Association, the nation\u2019s oldest and largest organization of public health officials. The professor and associate dean\u2019s three-year term on the executive board includes a year as president-elect, her current presidential year and a subsequent year as immediate past president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaac Taylor (\u201918) has been promoted to private credit reporter at The Wall Street Journal. He covers the world of private credit, including direct lending and asset-based finance. He joined The Journal in 2019 as a news assistant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ehsanul Kabir (\u201923) has received the 2024-2025 Young Civil Engineer of the Year in Government Award by the American Society of Civil Engineers Georgia Section. This statewide award is presented annually to an early-career professional who has made outstanding contributions to the engineering profession and broader community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
