Four young Bolivian businesspeople, Teresa Adachi, Ruth Anivarro, Afnan Agramont and Andrea Prieto, recently made a stop at the University\u2019s Center for Wildlife Education during their Rotary Foundation Group Study Exchange (GES) visit to the U.S. GES is a unique cultural and vocational opportunity for professionals between the ages of 25 and 40 who are in the early stages of their careers. For four to six weeks, team members experience the host country’s culture and institutions, observe how their vocations are practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships, and exchange ideas. The group experienced a flighted and reptile show then shared a meal with local Rotarians at the Center\u2019s pavilion. Rotarian and University Vice President for Information Technology Steve Burrell served as host along with members of the Downtown Statesboro Rotary Club. Guests\u2019 professions ranged from sales and marketing to satellite imaging, environmental engineering and watershed management.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
