After entering halftime down 27-23, the Eagles scored 35 unanswered points in the second half for a lopsided victory at rain-soaked Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama, on Dec. 23.<\/p>\n<p>The game drew 2.4 million viewers on ESPN and was the second most watched pre-Christmas bowl game this year. Summers\u2019 coaching career spans 15 years and seven schools, including the University of Central Florida, the University of Alabama-Birmingham, the University of Georgia, Troy University and Presbyterian College. In 2006, Summers coached the safeties at Georgia Southern.<\/p>\n<p>A four-year letterwinner at Presbyterian College, Summers was selected team captain as a senior.
