Georgia Southern brought its International Learning Center in Wexford, Ireland, to the streets of Savannah in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17. The University float featured a miniature version of the learning center and the faculty band “Losing Our Faculties,” who played the hits for the crowd. The University contingent also featured the Georgia Southern Cheerleaders, Eagle Battalion and President Kyle Marrero. For their efforts, the University won the Chairman’s Award from the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Committee.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
