Georgia Southern University Announces Finalists for Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

Georgia Southern University has named four finalists for the position of provost and vice president for academic affairs. The provost candidate public forums will be held in the Performing Arts Center.  These are open to the entire campus and to the community.  The candidates will be speaking on their vision for Academic Affairs at Georgia Southern University and will take questions from the audience following their presentations.  Each forum will be followed by a reception in the PAC lobby.  


The finalists include: 


Nathaniel Frazer, Ph.D.

Dean, College of Natural Resources

Utah State University

Oct 18 - 2:00-3:30 p.m. PAC, reception in lobby from 3:30-4:30 p.m. 


Junius Gonzales, M.D.

Dean, College of Behavioral & Community Sciences

University of South Florida

Oct 20 - 2:00-3:30 p.m. PAC, reception in lobby from 3:30-4:30 p.m.


Thomas Keon, Ph.D.

Dean, College of Business Administration

University of Central Florida

Oct 28 - 2:00-3:30 p.m. PAC, reception in lobby from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

William (Ted) Moore, Ph.D.

Vice President for Finance and Planning

University of South Carolina

Nov 1 - 2:00-3:30 p.m. PAC, reception in lobby from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
