 Recyclemania Spring Competition Helps Environment

For the first time ever, Georgia Southern University will be participating in Recyclemania, a friendly competition among college and university recycling programs in North America and Canada.

Beginning Feb. 5, schools will compete to reduce waste, increase recycling and raise awareness of conservation issues. To help promote Recyclemania, the Department of Environmental Safety at Georgia Southern will sponsor activities each week during the competition, which continues until March 31.
