Now Open: The NEST

The NEST, Eagle Dining Services’ intermediate dining facility, is officially open for business. Now students, faculty and staff can enjoy familiar foods like southern barbecue, pizza, pasta, salads, fresh wraps and sandwiches at seven different stations inside the 600-seat temporary facility. 

Located off of Chandler Road in the parking area between Centennial Place, the Performing Arts Center and Watson Hall, The NEST offers two to-go windows serving pre-made sandwiches and pizza. All-you-care-to-eat stations, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options also are available for patrons.

"Our goal is to ensure that Eagle Dining Services can accommodate dietary needs, continue to stay relevant with current dining trends and offer a great dining experience with exceptional value to everyone that we serve. The NEST is the first step toward that goal, and we plan to make dining there a memorable part of our history," says Michael Murphy, Eagle Dining Services marketing coordinator.

The fall 2012 hours of operation are listed below:  

• Monday - Thursday  7:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.
• Friday      7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Saturday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Sunday   11 a.m. – 8 p.m. /(Brunch) 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
