Up in Flames: Fire Safety and Awareness Event
Don't be alarmed if you see fire trucks on campus this Wednesday–the University Wellness Program and University Housing have joined efforts to provide education and awareness on fire safety.
The event, Up in Flames, will demonstrate the following:
- A mock unit catching fire
- Statesboro Fire Department obstacle course
- Air Evac helicopter
- Proper fire extinguisher usage
The event will take place in the Performing Arts Center parking area on Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 5 -7 p.m. Music and food will be available at the event and prizes including a Kindle Fire will be given away. Learn more.
