You Can Help Spread Eagle Cheer to the U.S. Troops
Georgia Southern University’s Division of Continuing Education and the Military Affairs Directorate need signatures on 2,000 Christmas cards that will be sent to U.S. troops serving in Afghanistan. Students, faculty, staff and community members are asked to drop by the Nessmith-Lane Conference Center, 847 Plant Drive, to sign the cards from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Nov. 28 – 30.
Georgia Southern President Brooks Keel, Ph.D., will lead the Eagle Nation in signing some of the Christmas cards on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at noon at the Nessmith-Lane Conference Center. Organizers urge everyone to take time to spread some “Eagle Cheer” this Christmas season with the men and women who defend the United States.
