Earth Day Celebration April 18
The 2013 Georgia Southern University Earth Day celebration is Thursday,
April 18 at the Russell Union Rotunda from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Featuring a variety
of displays, activities for kids and various types of entertainment, the University community is welcomed and encouraged to attend. Local
artist Tom Amettis will run a hands-on “Art from Found Objects” workshop
sponsored by the Zach S. Henderson Library. A series of talented local young
bands will provide the musical entertainment with an eclectic mix of covers. Earth Day is coordinated by Student
