IT Services Performs Critical Upgrade TODAY

Today IT Services is performing a critical upgrade that will have a widespread impact on most services and systems on campus.

To complete the upgrade in a timely manner, it is imperative that everyone on campus log out of all systems no later than 5:15 p.m. Any processes that begin past 5 p.m. will be shut down which may cause data loss.

Extended efforts have been taken to ensure that the My.GeorgiaSouthern portal, Folio, and other critical systems will not be affected during this outage in consideration of the end of Long Term. However, most services on campus will be unavailable including, but not limited to: Banner, WINGS, Eaglexpress, department / divisional shares, SharePoint and print services.
