Eagle Eye Care Now Accepting Insurance
There’s no need to travel off campus for your eye care needs. Eagle Eye Care,
located on the first floor in Building One of Centennial Place, offers eyeglass
repairs and adjustments, contact lenses, full health eye exams with an optometrist
and even designer eyeglass frames and sunglasses. Open to the University community and the
public, Eagle Eye Care is now accepting insurance, including Blue Cross Blue
Shield, United Healthcare and many others.
With an Eagle ID, faculty and staff receive a 25% discount on frames and
lenses. Student discounts also are offered. With an in-house lab, most glasses
are available in one hour. The center is
equipped to treat all eye infections and other eye conditions. In addition, outside
prescriptions are accepted. For your convenience, prescription information is
connected with your Eagle ID.
Designer brands include Nike, Michael Kors, Vera Bradley, Costa Del Mar, Oakley,
Ray Ban, Polo and more. Offering fast
and friendly service at competitive prices, Eagle Eye Care is conveniently
located across from Landrum Dining Commons.

“I encourage students to stop by during lunch or in-between classes. I want them to feel comfortable and at home here, and allow us to help them with their eye care needs,” says licensed dispensing optician, Dianne Hooks, manager of Eagle Eye Care.
To meet with Dr. Donald Clark, the on-campus optometrist, appointments are
required. Otherwise, no appointment is
necessary.
You can make an appointment by
