Money Management Lesson for Students

Money Management Lessons for Students

America's financial educator is coming to Georgia Southern University to teach students how to manage their money.

For the eighth consecutive year, Peter Bielagus will be on campus for six presentations on how to "Jumpstart Your Personal Finances." He will speak on Sept. 9 through Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the Nessmith-Lane Conference Center's Assembly Hall, 847 Plant Drive.

Students will get advice on budgeting, credit cards, managing debt and many other money matters.

Bielagus says he has helped tens of thousands of people from high schools and colleges, to teachers and the military, improve their knowledge and put their financial house in order.

Bielagus' presentations are sponsored by First-Year Experience (FYE). Admission is free and open to students and the public. Proof of attendance will be provided for Georgia Southern students.
