Center for International Studies Hosts Annual Study Abroad Fair Tuesday
The Center for International Studies is hosting the annual Study Abroad Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Russell Union Ballroom.
“The fair is a
wonderful opportunity for students to obtain information about programs
available through Georgia Southern as well as those available at other
institutions within the University System of Georgia (USG),” says Angie Threatte,
coordinator of international programming and events.
Program directors from Georgia Southern and other USG universities, and
Financial Aid will be on hand to discuss courses and countries available for studying abroad and
how students may apply their financial aid toward these courses. In
addition, Georgia Southern students who have already studied abroad will be available to discuss their
experiences with students who are interested in learning more.
“Come explore all the options available to you, speak to past participants,
faculty leaders and program reps, as well as get information about funding and
scholarships in preparation for your study abroad,” said Threatte.
Students should bring their Eagle ID card to the event for attendance verification. For more information, please contact Danielle Smith, study abroad & exchange coordinator at 912-478-7968 or visit the Study Abroad Fair website.
