Open Enrollment Requires Your Attention This Month

Open Enrollment Requires Your Attention This Month

This year, manually selecting benefits is required for all benefits-eligible faculty and staff. Reviewing benefit options and making your selections will take place during Open Enrollment Monday, Nov. 11 – Friday, Nov. 22. Unlike other years, only two weeks are allotted to complete your benefits selections this month.

Tobacco use certification is required upon enrollment for health care coverage in 2014. If you do not certify, your status will default to tobacco user and a $50 surcharge will be added to your premium.  The first month fee is non-refundable, if you forget to certify.

All active employees should have received a red envelope in their campus mailbox including a letter regarding Open Enrollment and the 2014 Health Care Basics BOR Comparison Guide.  Employees on any type of leave of absence will receive their packet at the present home address listed in the ADP system.

If you have questions regarding Open Enrollment, contact the Human Resources Benefits department at 912-478-0854.
