Faculty and Staff Event: Retirement Seminar Thursday

The Department of Human Resources in collaboration with Ameriprise Financial is hosting a retirement seminar this week, titled, “Health, Wealth and a Confident Retirement.” Presented by Ronald Washburn, the special event will be held Thursday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. in the Nessmith-Lane Conference Center, Room 2904. This seminar will offer tips and strategies that may help faculty and staff feel more confident about reaching retirement goals. By attending, participants can expect the following outcomes:

• Understand how to bring retirement dreams and goals more within reach.
• Prioritize retirement saving and spending plans to address what is most important.
• Identify risks that could throw retirement plans off track.
• Identify stress effects on physical and financial health.
