“White Out” Block Party on Thursday

Before the pivotal Sun Belt Conference matchup between Georgia Southern and Georgia State on Thursday night, come celebrate “The Real GSU” at Hanner Fieldhouse. Prior to the game on Thursday, Feb. 5, the University Programming Board (UPB) will host a block party at the Hanner Fieldhouse entrance (facing the Hollis Building) from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. to kick off the “White Out” basketball game and to show our True Blue (and white) spirit. Students, staff and faculty are invited to come and enjoy music, free food, games and prizes. The block party will also celebrate the many spring athletics getting into full swing, with members of the track team, baseball and softball teams, tennis and swimming teams on hand to show their Eagle Pride. Don’t forget to wear your white Georgia Southern apparel and help the Eagles “White Out Hanner!”
