Wellness Week Kicks Off at Georgia Southern

WellnessWeekLogoGeorgia Southern University’s Health Services and the University Wellness Program have teamed up to bring Wellness Week to campus throughout the week of Feb. 9-13. Students can participate in activities every day to find out what it takes to have a “recipe in complete health.” Activities for the week include:
  • Feb. 5: Are you ready to kick off Wellness Week 2015 the right way? Join us at 11 a.m. at the Russell Union Rotunda for the Exercise is Medicine Block Party. This event will feature games, music, giveaways and much more!
  • Feb 5: Shake, Shake, Shake it off at “Club Get R.I.C.H.” (Recipes In Complete Health) at 9 p.m. in the Williams Center Multi-Purpose Room. Drinks, food and giveaways will be provided.
  • Feb. 11: Partake in “Guys and Ladies Night Out” at the Nessmith-Lane Ballroom at 5 p.m. to test your health IQ with a pub-style trivia game and compete for a prize. The Office of Alcohol and other Drugs will provide mocktails, complimentary nuts and root beer.
  • Feb. 13: Close out Health Week with “Make Your Appointment Day” by signing up for an annual exam at Health Services.
